Our forthcoming E.P. has a name! “Real Life Glories” is nearing completion. All the music is down, just the vocals to go before our man at the desk works his mixing and mastering magic. Judging by everything that’s been thrown our way in the last 12 months, this is (probably) the E.P. that should never have been. We’re extremely proud of the six tracks and can’t wait to get them out there.
Thanks as always for your continued support.
Our Ritchie starts hitting his lovely, sparkly Gretsch drum kit again tomorrow as he continues to lay the foundations for our debut E.P. We’re a little bit excited and can’t wait to get it out there! You can follow the progress on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
Our second digital single will be available for free this Sunday (9th July 2017). “Nicotine Pretty” was recorded in a punk rock DIY fashion by the band on a posh 4 track in the Merthyr Dungeon, with mixing help from Al Steele at Shabbey Road. Just like single number one, it’ll be released in conjunction with Glunk Records.
“Who’s Gonna Save My Soul?” will be released through all major digital outlets on Sunday 2nd April 2017… FOR FREE!
It was recorded DIY by the band in the Merthyr Dungeon with post production done by Al Steele at Shabbey Road Studios.
Together with Glunk Records, we’re a little bit proud of it and hope you’ll like it come next week.
We’re over the rock ‘n’ roll moon to have Glunk Records on-board for the release of “Who’s Gonna Save My Soul?” We both share the same DIY ethics so it was a no-brainer to team up. Proper excited!
The first mixes of the single were done yesterday and it’s sounding great already. Just a few tweaks here and there over the coming weeks before it’s ready for public consumption. Seeing as we recorded it ourselves in our Merthyr Dungeon rehearsal space on a posh 4 track, we’re a little bit proud of the outcome and cannot wait to chuck it out there for free.
Hopefully it’ll be worth the wait!
We’re proper chuffed to announce we’re on the bill for Some Weird Sin’s “Summer Weird Sin” at The Windmill, Brixton, London on Saturday 19th August 2017.
We’re a little bit excited to share a stage with this awesome lot…
• Los Pepes
• The Sly Persuaders
• Ming City Rockers
• The Empty Page
• The Fiascos
• White Ape
• Calva Louise
• Kid Slug
Tickets are available NOW for a mere £8 (with free BBQ) from WeGotTickets.
Tomorrow we hit the Merthyr Dungeon hard. Ahead of physical releases later in the year, we’ve chosen “Who’s Gonna Save My Soul?” to chuck out as a free download in the coming months. Stay tuned!
We’ve also 3 gigs booked thus far from July 2017 onwards. We’re sworn to secrecy by the promoters, but as soon as they officially announce ’em, the details will be here.
Thanks as always for the early support. We hope you’ll like the rock ‘n’ roll that is to follow.
